Job summary

Ali & Sons Capital Management in the UAE is seeking an analytical Investment Associate (M&A) to support evaluation and execution of M&A, direct investments, and strategic opportunities across the Group.

The role collaborates with senior management, investment partners, and external stakeholders across transaction execution and portfolio management. CFA/CAIA preferred with 5–7 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
5–7 years of experience in M&A, IB, private equity, or related role.
CFA, CAIA, or similar qualification preferred.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence skills.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end execution of M&A, direct investment, and strategic transactions, including sourcing, screening, evaluation, and execution.
Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, transaction IRR) for investment opportunities.
Conduct and coordinate financial, commercial, operational, tax, and legal due diligence.
Prepare investment memoranda, valuation analyses, and materials for Investment Committee and senior management.
Support deal structuring, commercial negotiations, and transaction execution with internal teams and external advisors.
Research and evaluate private market fund managers across Buyout, Growth, Venture, Credit, and Infrastructure strategies.
Monitor NAV, distributions, IRR, and portfolio performance; maintain dashboards and insights.
