Job summary

Wasael Property Management seeks a proactive Stakeholder & Authority Liaison to lead government engagement, secure permits, approvals, and NOCs for complex projects in Abu Dhabi.

You will coordinate with design, technical, projects, construction, and commercial teams, maintain authority records, track submissions, and report progress to project leadership.

Candidates should have a related degree and proven UAE regulatory experience, with strong communication and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• Experience in stakeholder management and authority coordination in real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or major projects.
• Experience managing government approvals, permits, NOCs, and regulatory submissions.
• Knowledge of UAE authority processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating with government entities, utilities, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills to handle complex stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with authorities, stakeholders, utilities to secure approvals and permits.
• Develop authority approvals matrix and stakeholder register with deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to incorporate authority requirements into plans.
• Monitor approval timelines and flag delays.
• Conduct meetings with authorities, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain records of submissions, approvals, commitments and actions.
• Provide regular status reports to leadership on approvals and risks.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management.
