Job summary

IFS in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior FP&A partner to drive financial performance, governance, and decision support across a global organisation. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and investment appraisal while partnering with senior leaders to maximise value from strategic initiatives.

You will champion cost optimisation, develop robust financial models, and drive AI-enabled insights to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in FP&A, financial controlling, finance business partnering, or corporate finance.
• Business partnering experience with senior stakeholders
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and financial governance processes
• Strong experience developing business cases, investment appraisals, and financial models
• Experience supporting senior leadership teams and influencing strategic decision making
• Proven ability to manage complex financial data and deliver meaningful performance insights
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
• Experience working within a large International Organisation
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and digital technologies to enhance financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business decision support

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Own and manage P&L performance with timely analysis and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Drive cost management and cost ownership methodologies for transparency.
• Develop financial models, scenarios, and business cases to back strategic initiatives.
• Advance AI, automation, and digital tools to improve finance processes and efficiency.
• Challenge spending proposals to align resources with priorities and value.
• Provide guidance on vendor contracts, licensing, outsourcing, and procurement.
• Ensure governance across investments, project funding, changes, and benefits realization.
• Lead periodic financial reviews with risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Support headcount planning and workforce management to align costs with budgets.
• Improve financial governance frameworks, processes, and reporting standards.
• Identify savings opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate across Finance, Technology, Procurement, HR, and other functions.
• Produce executive-level presentations for governance forums.
