Job summary

Shipping & Maritime Logistics Company is seeking a Financial Manager to lead financial planning, accounting, budgeting, treasury, and risk management across its fleet, chartering, freight, and logistics operations. The role ensures accurate cost accounting for vessel voyages and compliance with maritime regulations.

You will provide the executive team and board with reliable financial insight to support commercial and operational decisions, while guiding a finance and accounts team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (required).
• MBA/Finance is advantageous.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA/CFA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• 7–10 years in financial management; 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience in shipping/maritime/logistics preferred.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and treasury management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for fleet and operations.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP financial reporting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and FX risk.
• Control voyage costing, bunker, port dues, and freight settlements.
• Lead risk management, insurance, and internal controls.
• Develop the finance team and report to senior leadership.
