Job summary

Turner and Townsend in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Cost Manager to lead post-contract cost management for construction and development work. You will manage estimates, risk assessments, and cost reporting across bids and projects, ensuring control of spend and timely payment processing.

The role requires UAE experience, a construction-focused degree, and progress toward or an active RICS accreditation, with a strong emphasis on vendor prequalification and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• At least four years in a cost management role in construction.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium to large projects.
• In-country UAE experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management from estimate through final payment for project(s) in Ras Al Khaimah.
• Prepare and present cost estimates covering construction costs, fees and expenses.
• Maintain cost reporting schedules with forecasts against budget.
• Review payment applications, advise on contractor entitlements and evaluate change orders.
• Apply dispute prevention procedures and maintain a commercial risk register.
• Lead vendor prequalification and manage the bid process including bid interviews and recommendations.
