Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Budget Planning and Financial Analysis Specialist for a confidential government entity in Abu Dhabi. You will develop annual budgets, analyze variances, and prepare management reports to align resources with priorities.

The role requires 3–6 years in budgeting and forecasting, strong Excel skills, and ability to work with ERP systems. You will partner with business units and present insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Admin.
• 3–6 years in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, or management reporting.
• Strong experience in budget prep, variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Analyze budgets, actuals, forecasts, and variances to identify risks.
• Monitor budget utilization and highlight significant variances and trends.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support forecasting, scenario analysis, and budget planning activities.
• Collaborate with business units to validate submissions and requirements.
• Provide insights on expenditure patterns to inform management decisions.
• Support budget revisions, reallocations, and approval processes.
• Monitor commitments and expenditures through the year.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as requested.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance requirements.
• Contribute to improving budgeting and reporting processes.
