Job summary

Q Tech General Trading LLC is seeking a highly analytical Business Intelligence Engineer to shape the data analytics stream across UAE, KSA, and Egypt. You will develop analytics frameworks, define metrics, mine data, and partner with finance, product, marketing, and operations to drive scalable growth and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating BI reports using Tableau, Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with Excel.
• MBA.
• Advanced degree in statistics, analytics, operational research, business or related discipline.
• Experience with building scalable reporting.
• Be self-driven, details-oriented, and able to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with data engineering, BI, software development, finance, modeling and product teams.
• Proficient using R, Python, or other statistics and ML tools.
• Experience in ML field, recommendations and/or personalization.

• Analyze and dive deep on key business metrics and present insights to leadership.
• Build capabilities for analytics models to support growth strategies.
• Improve reporting processes and automate self-service datasets.

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reports.
• Adopt best practices in data integrity, test design, and documentation.
• Tune complex query performance using profiling tools and SQL.
