Job summary

Thales in Dubai seeks an Account Director to own the strategic airline relationship, acting as customer advocate across internal functions to ensure needs are understood and satisfied. You will drive profitable order intake and expand digital, connectivity, and recurring services revenue alongside core IFE hardware.

You will engage senior stakeholders, lead negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on commitments, while building long-term partnerships that support Thales'

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, engineering or a relevant field.
• 15+ years in sales or key account roles within aviation.
• Experience with IFE, inflight connectivity, or onboard digital products.
• 10+ years building account plans, roadmaps and strategy across internal/external efforts.
• 10+ years in contract management including dispute resolution and customer complaints.
• Proven ownership of large, complex B2B accounts with multi-stakeholder structures.
• Experience selling services and software, not only hardware.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead commercial contact for the airline account.
• Build relationships with regional C-level stakeholders and partners.
• Ensure timely delivery of Thales solutions aligned to customer objectives.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations from opportunity through to contract.
• Drive digital, connectivity, and recurring services revenue growth.
• Forecast, report, and present opportunities and trends to senior management.
