Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
• Professional accounting qualifications (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare timely financial reports.
• Analyze financial information to provide management with advice on business decisions.
• Ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, etc. as required by management.
• Monitor the payment of invoices and ensure they are received in a timely manner.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agencies, banks, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts/audits.
• Develop strategies for cost reduction initiatives.
• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding accounting principles.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
