Job summary

PPOAR in Ajman, UAE is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team. The role requires independence as well as teamwork and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR, tax management and preparing financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of experience, and strong attention to detail. Local tax knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Knowledge of local tax laws is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial aspects including bookkeeping, payroll, AP/AR and tax management.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure records are up-to-date.
• Analyze data to support budgeting and cost controls.
