Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a warehouse receiver to manage inbound shipments. You will verify deliveries against purchase orders, assess product quality, packaging and temperature, and report discrepancies promptly.

You will also enter data in the warehouse system, label and store items correctly, support stock counts, and ensure food safety procedures are followed in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in storekeeping or inbound receiving, preferably in food distribution.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, inventory systems and handheld scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams until closure.
• Clear communication in English and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work shifts in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify items, quantities and units against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Check product condition, packaging, expiry dates and temperatures for chilled or frozen products.
• Identify shortages, excess quantities, damaged goods and discrepancies; report immediately.
• Complete receiving entries accurately using the warehouse system and handheld devices.
• Follow up on purchase orders or system issues until resolved; escalate delays promptly.
• Ensure received stock is labelled, barcoded and moved to correct storage location without delay.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and support stock counts and reconciliation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and stock rotation procedures.
