Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our construction team involved in Bridge Construction Projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in managing construction materials, tools, and equipment, and must have worked on UAE-based construction projects for at least 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store construction materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and issue materials as per site requirements.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and stacking of materials in compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit stock reports, inventory levels, and material usage to the site manager/project engineer.
  • Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor material expiration and damage; handle return and replacement processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track tools and equipment movement, ensuring timely return from site staff.
  • Enforce and follow safety and housekeeping rules within the storage area.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in UAE construction projects.
  • Experience in Bridge or Infrastructure Construction is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and inventory systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or inventory management software.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site demands.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with RTA or other government project documentation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or digital inventory platforms.
