Job summary

NCC Emirates in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Store Supervisor to manage receiving, stock control, and inventory reporting for materials used in EPC projects. You will ensure documentation, coordinate inspections, reconcile stock with system records, and protect materials from loss or damage.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field with at least 7 years in storekeeping or warehouse operations, preferably in construction or power

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or material management.
• Previous experience in construction, EPC, infrastructure, power transmission, or substation projects is preferred.
• Experience in supervising storekeepers and warehouse personnel.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, material receiving, storage, preservation, and issuance procedures.
• Experience using ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving of materials and ensure all incoming materials are supported by the required documentation, including invoices, waybills, delivery notes, import documents, and test certificates, where applicable.
• Verify material specifications, quantities, and physical condition against approved purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure shortages, damages, excess quantities, and other discrepancies are properly identified, recorded, and reported to the concerned departments.
• Coordinate material inspections with client and QA/QC representatives, where required, and maintain all relevant inspection records and documentation.
• Ensure store personnel maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory logs, registers, and system records for all material transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper control of stock movements, receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Supervise periodic physical stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure physical stock is reconciled with system records and investigate and report any identified variances.
• Ensure timely preparation of stock reports, material reconciliation statements, and other required inventory reports.
• Ensure materials are adequately protected against loss, damage, deterioration, theft, and environmental exposure.
