Job Summary

The incumbent as a Store In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving operational excellence, maximizing sales, and ensuring outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a results-driven professional with proven retail experience, strong team management, and a sharp focus on food safety, customer experience, stock management and deliveries, and compliance. The incumbent leads by example, motivating teams, optimizing processes, and implementing strategies that enhance profitability, brand reputation, and customer loyalty.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficiency, smooth workflow, and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to standards.
  • Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, reduce shrinkage and control waste.
  • Oversee inventory management, including managing deliveries, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure excellent customer service, build long-term relationships, and handle any complaints or queries effectively.
  • Implement promotion, merchandising plans, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns and in-store events. Monitor budgets, control expenses, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop, train and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective success.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment.
  • Streamline processes and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Analyze sales data and implement action plans to address under-performing areas.
  • Prepare and present regular report on store performance including sales, operations, and staff performance to senior management.
  • Work closely with corporate teams such as merchandising, marketing, people, etc. to align store goals with organizational objectives.
