Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, count, and store incoming goods.
  • Track stock levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Manage and organize stock in a proper and accessible manner.
  • Process and document all merchandise received from suppliers.
  • Check for discrepancies and damage in deliveries.
  • Handle and prepare items for shipment or return to vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued.
  • Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first.
  • Dispose of obsolete or surplus stock according to company policy.
  • Keep the store or warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Report any inventory issues to the relevant parties.

  • Order and receiving: Process and document all merchandise received from suppliers.
  • Check for discrepancies and damage in deliveries.
  • Handle and prepare items for shipment or return to vendors.
  • Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued, and update inventory management systems.
  • Stock maintenance: Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first (FIFO).
  • Dispose of obsolete or surplus stock according to company policy.
  • Warehouse upkeep: Keep the store or warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communication and reporting: Report any inventory issues, such as damage or discrepancies, to the relevant parties.
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and generate reports as needed.
