The Stewarding Team Leader is responsible for supervising Kitchen Stewards to ensure an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while supporting overall Back of House operations.

What will I be doing

As a Stewarding Team Leader, you will supervise Kitchen Stewards and support the Back of House team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Kitchen Stewards to ensure high standards
  • Supporting training and development of the Back of House team
  • Coordinating daily pot-wash and dish-wash responsibilities
  • Maintaining Back of House areas to the highest cleanliness standards
  • Following COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances
  • Reporting equipment faults or damage to relevant management
  • Ensuring the use of correct PPE and adherence to safety guidelines
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently according to Hilton standards
  • Assisting with the movement and storage of operational equipment
  • Participating in stock takes as required
  • Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations
  • Performing any other reasonable tasks assigned by hotel management
