Job summary

Hilton in Dubai is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee back of house operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in kitchen support areas.

You will lead and coach the back of house team, monitor performance, manage stock levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain quality within budget. Emphasis on safety and cross-department collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back of house operations: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen support areas
• Lead back of house team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee inventory and ordering: Monitor stock levels of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies, and place orders to meet business needs for events and daily operations
• Control stock and costs: Perform regular stock takes, identify loss patterns, and enforce measures to minimize waste while maintaining par levels
• Oversee purchasing and invoicing: Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality products within budget
• Support cross-department collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Events, and other teams to support seamless operations and maintain strong working relationships
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
