Job summary

ALGHANIM INTERNATIONAL GENERAL TRADING&CONTRACTING seeks a Steel/Structural Foreman for bridge works in the UAE. You will supervise daily steel erection installation and fabrication activities and lead a on-site team of erectors, riggers, welders, fabricators and helpers.

You will read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings and method statements, ensure proper alignment, leveling, positioning, bolting, welding and fixing of steel components, and coordinate with site

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant experience as a Steel/Structural Foreman.
• Proven bridge construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read steel shop drawings and erection drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily steel erection installation and fabrication activities for bridge works.
• Lead and manage steel erectors, riggers, welders, fabricators and helpers on site.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings and method statements.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, positioning, bolting, welding and fixing of steel components.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, QA/QC, HSE teams, crane operators and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate crane lifting, rigging and steel erection activities in accordance with approved procedures.

• Ensure proper alignment leveling positioning bolting welding and fixing of steel components
• Coordinate with Site Engineers Project Engineers QA QC HSE teams crane operators and subcontractors
• Plan and coordinate crane lifting rigging and steel erection activities in accordance with approved procedures
• 10-15 years of relevant experience as a Steel/Structural Steel Foreman
• Proven experience in bridge construction projects is highly preferred
• Strong hands-on experience in structural steel erection, fabrication, bolting, welding, and steel connections
• Experience with heavy steel components and bridge erection works
• Ability to read and understand steel shop drawings and erection drawings
