Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi seeks a consultant anesthesiologist to implement comprehensive anesthesia plans for CCAD patients. Responsibilities include preoperative evaluation, planning, and post operative care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires DOH licensing CME compliance and ongoing education to maintain clinical privileges, with flexible hours as per department policies.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology with fellowship/subspecialty in Cardiac Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative evaluation and risk stratification with informed consent counseling.
• Develop anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs including regional techniques and various modalities.
• Respond to emergencies in clinical areas and assist with critically ill patients as needed.
• Provide empathetic, culturally appropriate patient care.
• Manage postoperative recovery and safe hand-offs.
• Collaborate with CCAD teams and participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Offer anesthesia consultation for high-risk patients and pain management planning.
• Maintain CME and DOH licensing requirements and CCAD policies.
