Job summary

NMDC Career site is seeking an experienced fabrication/construction professional for Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. The role requires extensive experience in fabrication yards, module fabrication, structural steel, piping supports, pipe racks, skids, jackets, and related facilities, with a strong grasp of welding, fit-up, NDT, and quality control.

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas fabrication and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, fit-up, dimensional control, NDT, blasting, painting, and material traceability.
• Good knowledge of applicable international codes, standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors within a fabrication yard.
• Experience working on major EPC/EPCM projects with international clients and contractors is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, fabrication planning, productivity targets, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, and Client teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors within a fabrication yard.
• Ensure alignment with project schedules and fabrication planning.
• Monitor productivity targets and progress milestones.
• Interface with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, and Client teams to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Maintain compliance with international codes, standards, and quality requirements.
