Job summary

GSS Tech Group seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer for backend focus on Node.js, digital assets, custody, tokenization, and wealth management platforms within FinTech. You will develop scalable, secure backend systems, APIs, and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a banking/FinTech context.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable backend systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong RESTful API design and enterprise app patterns.
• Experience following coding standards, secure coding practices, and unit testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and enhance enterprise-grade digital products and platforms related to Wealth Management and Digital Assets.
• Develop solutions for Custody, Tokenization, and Blockchain-based financial products and services.
• Design and implement high-performance APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technology and design decisions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, unit testing, and technical documentation standards.
• Conduct technology research and benchmark modern engineering practices and emerging technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and engineering best practices across the organization.
