Job Summary

Join our dynamic Digital and Technology department as a Sr. Network and Security Engineer and play a pivotal role in safeguarding and optimizing the network infrastructure for Miral Experiences and its companies. As part of our Network and Security Operations team, you will design and maintain secure, robust networking solutions, leveraging both on-premise and cloud technologies in a fast-paced, asynchronous work culture that values written communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and maintain end-to-end network and security infrastructure solutions, utilizing the latest technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and reinforce a resilient security posture network-wide, proactively adapting to technology trends, business needs, and audit insights.
• Drive project initiatives, ensuring deliverables are met within timelines and budgets, and all documentation is thorough and accurate.
• Conduct routine maintenance, failover tests, and drills to ensure adherence to benchmarks and business continuity plans.
• Respond to and resolve incidents proactively within defined SLAs, maintaining detailed root cause analyses and knowledge bases.
• Support the development and management of network and security budgets, aligning with broader IT risk management and audit requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure network integrity and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Active CCNP Enterprise and CCNP Security or equivalent certifications (FCP, PCNSA).
• 7+ years’ hands-on experience in networking and security engineering, including expertise in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, advanced routing, and security solutions such as IPS/IDS and firewalls.
• Mastery of Cisco networking platforms (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI), enterprise wireless (Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus), and advanced switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
• Strong experience with cloud and datacenter networking, multicast protocols, monitoring platforms, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Familiarity with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, FTD, Sophos), NAC/AAA solutions (Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE), and ITIL frameworks.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an asynchronous team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE Enterprise or Security, CCNP Datacenter, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with Multi-Pod Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA, Meraki, enterprise telephony, and blade switching technologies.
• Background in managing WAF/ADC solutions (Citrix, F5, Sophos, Azure GW) and advanced reporting tools.
