Job summary

Quorum Software seeks a Senior Expert to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale energy systems across LNG, terminals, and hydrocarbon logistics environments. You will guide solution design, manage delivery teams, and act as a trusted client advisor in a hybrid Abu Dhabi setting.

The role requires deep midstream domain knowledge, hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS), and a proven record of coordinating large deployments with eight+ consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related analytical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise systems in complex energy environments.
• Strong domain expertise in midstream oil & gas or LNG operations.
• Experience leading delivery teams (8+ members) in client-facing environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery teams across large-scale energy system implementations.
• Own end-to-end solution delivery including architecture, design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership across enterprise system environments (SQL-based systems, APIs, integration frameworks, and cloud platforms such as AWS or similar).
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements in complex operational environments.
• Mentor consultants and build strong delivery capability within the team.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients in midstream and LNG operations.
• Lead discovery workshops to understand operational workflows such as LNG cargo scheduling and optimization, terminal operations, and hydrocarbon logistics.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable system architectures and solution designs.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
• Apply deep understanding of midstream energy value chains and ensure solutions reflect industry best practices.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Expert to lead complex software implementation programs across LNG, terminal operations, and hydrocarbon logistics environments.

This role sits within our Professional Services organization and is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale solutions, acting as both a technical delivery lead and trusted client advisor.

The ideal candidate brings deep midstream or LNG operational expertise, combined with strong experience delivering complex enterprise systems in large-scale energy environments. Experience with Quorum Energy Components (EC) or similar hydrocarbon management systems is highly valued but not mandatory.

You will play a key role in shaping solution design, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring alignment between client operations and Quorum's platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Lead delivery teams across large-scale energy system implementations
• Own end-to-end solution delivery including architecture, design, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment
• Provide technical leadership across enterprise system environments (SQL-based systems, APIs, integration frameworks, and cloud platforms such as AWS or similar)
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements in complex operational environments
• Mentor consultants and build strong delivery capability within the team

Client Engagement & Solution Architecture

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients in midstream and LNG operations
• Lead discovery workshops to understand operational workflows such as:
  • LNG cargo scheduling and optimization
  • Terminal operations and storage management
  • Hydrocarbon logistics and nomination processes
• Translate operational requirements into scalable system architectures and solution designs
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions

Industry & Domain Expertise

• Apply deep understanding of midstream energy value chains, including LNG, terminals, shipping interfaces, and custody transfer processes
• Ensure solutions reflect industry best practices and operational efficiency goals

  Pre-Sales & Advisory Support (as Required)

  • Support sales and pre-sales engagements with technical and domain expertise
  • Contribute to RFP responses and solution shaping activities
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations aligned to client operational scenarios

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related analytical discipline
  • Strong domain expertise in midstream oil & gas or LNG operations is essential
  • 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise systems in complex energy environments
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • LNG cargo scheduling / operations systems
    • Terminal management systems
    • Hydrocarbon logistics or nomination systems
    • Oil trading or midstream operational platforms
  • Proven experience leading delivery teams (8+ members) in client-facing environments
  • Strong understanding of system integration, data flows, and enterprise architecture concepts
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, and enterprise application environments
  • Experience working in large-scale energy organizations, including national oil companies or global operators
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Quorum Energy Components (EC) or comparable hydrocarbon accounting / midstream platforms
  • Experience in LNG-focused environments or global LNG trading/operations
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and modern DevOps practices
  • Background in system implementation, consulting, or solution architecture roles in energy technology
  • Exposure to trading, scheduling, or logistics optimization systems
  • Experience working in the Middle East energy sector
