Job summary

NMDC Group in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Offshore Construction Estimation professional to prepare and finalize technical and commercial inputs in alignment with strategy decisions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
• Min. 8 years experience in Offshore Construction Estimation in Oil & Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to understand project scope, specs and execution requirements.
• Develop offshore construction cost estimates with commercial and technical inputs.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and construction teams to gather data for manpower, materials, equipment and subcontracting inputs.
• Provide input to project scheduling and resource planning.
• Attend clarification meetings with clients to address technical and commercial issues.
• Maintain updated knowledge of benchmarks, cost norms, productivity standards and market trends.
• Ensure execution of estimation strategies with adherence to department objectives and HSE/quality standards.
• Support enhancement of estimation tools, norms and procedures.

Jobs at this level are responsible for:

• Preparation all Offshore estimation for various Proposals within Contracts & Proposals Department
• Prepare & finalize Technical & Commercial inputs in consultation with Estimation Manager / Estimation Director Based on strategy meeting decisions.

• Review tender documents to understand of project scope, specifications and execution requirements
• Develop Offshore construction cost estimates, including commercial and technical inputs, clarifications and qualifications
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and construction teams to collect and validate data for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontracting inputs
• Provide input to project scheduling and resource planning
• Attend clarification meetings with clients to address technical and commercial issues
• Maintain updated knowledge of benchmarks, cost norms, productivity standards and market trends
• Ensure execution of estimation strategies, adherence to dept objectives and compliance with company HSE and quality standards
• Support the enhancement of estimation tools, norms, and procedures

Qualifications
