Job Description

We’re looking for a Specialist Vendor Operations to join the team and focus on growing our Local Shops (Non Food Vertical). The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

Responsibilities
  • Support regional & local operations teams to improve operational metrics & setting vendors up for success
  • Track operational process and performance across markets such as new vendor onboarding, auditing of catalog clean up, inventory integrations, picker performance, etc
  • Support local markets with processes / initiatives that are outside of BAU tasks
  • Track compliance of BAU processes and tasks for local markets
  • Support local markets with performance analytics, sizing of opportunities and market projects
  • Daily review of performance & monitoring of inventory / price updates, identifying any issues and resolving to ensure correct availability & prices
  • Creating basic processes such as device allocation, uniform ordering, etc
  • Collaborate with market VC's for best practices and lessons learned
  • Ability to carry out daily checks with limited support, ensuring all local processes are followed and completed
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in an operational role
  • Strong vendor operational knowledge
  • Ability to document processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work with data and highlight key insights
  • Confident solving minor issues efficiently, and understanding which issues require escalation and proposing documents/changes to mitigate
  • Understanding of grocery operations
  • High ownership and a keenness to learn
  • Strong communication skills in English
