Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Physician Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for physicians across various specialties. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of recruitment experience, particularly in the healthcare sector, and a strong understanding of healthcare licensing systems. Responsibilities
1. Physician Recruitment & Sourcing
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for physicians across all medical specialties.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels - professional networks, LinkedIn, referrals, medical associations, agencies, and international recruitment drives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified doctors (both locally and internationally).
2. Screening & Evaluation
  • Review CVs and credentials to ensure alignment with clinical requirements and licensing standards.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to assess experience, communication, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interviews with Medical Directors, Department Heads, and credentialing committees.
  • Maintain continuous communication with candidates to ensure a professional recruitment experience.
3. Licensing & Credentialing Coordination
  • Verify all candidate documents including qualifications, experience certificates, and references.
  • Work closely with the licensing and credentialing teams to ensure compliance with DOH/DHA/MOH regulations.
4. Offer Management & Onboarding
  • Prepare offers in coordination with Rewards and HR teams ensuring internal equity and approved salary bands.
  • Support negotiation and acceptance process professionally while ensuring compliance with policies.
5. Relationship Management & Reporting
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Medical Directors, Department Chairs, and HR partners.
  • Maintain updated recruitment trackers and share weekly/monthly recruitment dashboards.
  • Support employer branding efforts and participate in international recruitment fairs or sourcing campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with a minimum of 3 years in physician or medical staff recruitment (hospital or healthcare group experience essential).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare licensing systems - DOH, DHA, MOH, HAAD, DataFlow, and credentialing requirements.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (Oracle ORC).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple senior-level vacancies with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
