Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Dubai is seeking an experienced professional to take on an operational role within its Supply Chain unit. The candidate will be responsible for implementing improvements to system solutions and ensuring effective system support for global operations. The ideal applicant has extensive experience in Supply Chain systems, technical design skills, and a background in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent customer relationship management are essential.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of working experience in Supply Chain systems.
  • 5+ years managing customer relationships in a global service environment.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement enhancements and manage changes to systems based on business requirements.
  • Ensure effective system delivery and incident resolution.
  • Support the Global Supply Chain with technical solutions.

Job description
Job Purpose :

An operational role in the Aspen Technology Enabled Shared Services business unit responsible to for the implementation of enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives that enables the development of system solutions to drive Supply Chain efficiency and value creation. To bridge the business requirements with the correct technical systems solution. To understand the business challenges and be accountable and responsible for implementing and managing changes to the system to match user requirements. To ensure effective and efficient system delivery and support to Aspen’s Global Supply Chain including complex incident resolution and end-user support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • B Degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related
  • Training and / or certification in BPM, SDLC, ITIL, DevOps, Agile
  • inaxis Certifications Advantageous
  • RR Author Level 2
  • Administrator Level 1
  • Talend
  • 8 years+ working experience in Supply Chain systems, Inventory Management systems.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing customer relationships in an operational and global services and automation in a large complex / matrix global organisation
  • Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Configuration and technical design experience in Kinaxis
  • Advanced Knowledge of Supply Chain related Business processes
  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience in administration, authoring, and integration of APS solutions
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis, SAP PP and / or other planning systems
  • Strong business knowledge of forecasting techniques, demand planning, replenishment and inventory optimisation, master data and integration with finance
  • Work in high pressure environment and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose environment with remediation plans, priorities and timelines
  • Effectively and efficiently be able to prioritise and execute tasks
