Job summary

Ezeehealthcare in Dubai seeks an experienced Specialist Rheumatologist to join its growing medical team and deliver high-quality care to patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and manage complex rheumatologic cases, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a modern clinical environment.

DHA license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate Rheumatology qualification.
• Proven experience as a Specialist Rheumatologist.
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills in rheumatology and autoimmune disorders.
• DHA license or eligibility (or equivalent regulatory license).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and rheumatological examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
• Manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and other connective tissue disorders.
• Evaluate and manage patients with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
• Interpret relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
• Provide pharmacological and non-surgical treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret joint and musculoskeletal assessments and procedures as required.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with musculoskeletal, rheumatological, and autoimmune disorders. The role requires strong clinical expertise, sound diagnostic skills, and experience in managing both routine and complex rheumatological cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatological and autoimmune conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and rheumatological examinations.
• Develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and patient needs.
• Manage conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and other connective tissue disorders.
• Evaluate and manage patients with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
• Interpret relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
• Provide appropriate pharmacological and non-surgical treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret relevant joint and musculoskeletal assessments and procedures as required..

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology or equivalent specialty.
• Proven experience as a Specialist Rheumatologist.
• Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing rheumatological, musculoskeletal, and autoimmune disorders.
• Experience managing complex rheumatological cases is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills.
• DHA, DOH, SHA, MOH License / DHA Eligibility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
