Job summary

Client of First Medical Center in Dubai seeks a Specialist Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric services to a diverse patient population. The role emphasizes addiction medicine, substance use disorders, rehabilitation, and general mental health, with a preference for a female specialist.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, manage pharmacotherapy, collaborate with psychologists and a multidisciplinary team, and ensure accurate records in line with UAE healthcare

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree and specialist qualification in Psychiatry.
• Experience in addiction, substance use disorders and rehabilitation.
• DHA license or eligibility preferred.
• Female candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric consultations and comprehensive mental health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders.
• Assess and manage addiction and substance use disorders; develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate treatment with psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide counselling and education; maintain confidential medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and follow UAE regulations.
