Job summary

Myn in Dubai is seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatrician to join our team. You will provide comprehensive care for newborns, children and adolescents, delivering preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services in collaboration with nurses and specialists.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS/MD, postgraduate pediatrics, 3+ years post‑specialty experience, and a valid DHA license or eligibility. Excellent English communication is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DNB/MRCPCH or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years post-specialty experience in pediatrics.
• Valid DHA license as Specialist Pediatrician, or eligible to obtain one before starting.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience managing newborns, children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication in English. Arabic and other languages are an advantage.
• UAE or GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions in children from birth to adolescence.
• Conduct well-child visits, growth and developmental monitoring, and routine health screenings.
• Administer and advise on childhood immunisation programmes in line with UAE guidelines.
• Manage common pediatric conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious and allergic illnesses.
• Identify developmental, behavioural and nutritional concerns and refer to specialists and therapists when needed.
• Provide emergency and urgent care within the scope of pediatric practice.
• Counsel and educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition and development.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirements.
• Follow DHA standards, infection control protocols and clinical governance guidelines.
• Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement and mentoring of junior staff.

About the Role

• Warmth, patience, cultural sensitivity and sound ethical judgement when working with children and families


• UAE or GCC experience is preferred
