Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Recognized specialty qualification in Neurology.
• Relevant post-specialty clinical experience in Neurology.
• Valid professional license/registration from the relevant authority, as applicable.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with neurological conditions through detailed history, neurological examination, and appropriate investigations.
• Manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headache and migraine, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and other neurological disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patients' clinical progress.
• Interpret and correlate relevant investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, and laboratory results, where applicable.
• Provide appropriate medical treatment, follow-up, and preventive neurological care.
• Refer patients for specialized investigations or multidisciplinary management when required.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive measures.
• Participate in clinical quality, patient-safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
