Penspen is looking to hire Specialist Materials and Corrosion for our offshore PMC Project in UAE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on materials selection for pipelines, pressure vessels, structures, and offshore equipment.
  • Develop and implement corrosion control strategies, including cathodic protection, coatings, and chemical treatments.
  • Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support integrity management programs, inspection planning, and risk-based assessments.
  • Review and approve materials and corrosion-related specifications, procedures, and designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and inspection teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry developments in corrosion and materials engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in materials and corrosion engineering in the oil and gas sector, including offshore operations.
