The role reports to the IT Director, with no direct reports. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, 5–7 years in Oracle EBS technical development and application support, and strong PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Workflow skills.

About the Role

The Specialist – Information Technology (Oracle EBS Technical Function) is a key contributor responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting, and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite technical solutions that underpin Sanad’s enterprise and aviation MRO operations. This hands‑on role involves working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, high‑quality technical deliverables. The incumbent ensures system stability, performance, security, and data integrity by adhering to Oracle development standards, testing protocols, documentation practices, and IT governance. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology within the Group Chief Finance Office & SVP – Asset Management, this position is an individual contributor role without direct supervisory responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Oracle EBS Technical Development and Customization (30%): Develop, modify, test, and maintain Oracle EBS custom components including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow. Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and internal governance while performing code reviews and thorough testing prior to deployment.
• Technical Analysis, Design, and Integration (25%): Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and develop Oracle EBS enhancements, maintain system integrations, and support configuration and technical enablement of EBS modules, assessing impacts and escalating risks as needed.
• Application Support, Troubleshooting, and Issue Resolution (20%): Provide technical support for Oracle EBS incidents and service requests across environments. Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams including infrastructure and vendors to maintain system reliability and data integrity.
• Performance Tuning and System Optimization (15%): Monitor EBS components and database objects for performance issues. Optimize SQL, PL/SQL code, reports, and interfaces, support upgrades and patches, and conduct post‑implementation reviews to ensure optimal system operation.
• Documentation, Testing, and Collaboration (10%): Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, perform unit and system testing, support user acceptance testing, and collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. Support audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.

Who we are looking for

We seek a dedicated professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Oracle EBS technical certification and additional Oracle database or integration certifications are advantageous. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite technical development and application support, with proven expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow. Experience developing RICEW components and working knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, and HRMS are essential. Familiarity with system integration, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and an understanding of aviation or MRO environments is a plus.
