Job summary

Talentspoc seeks an Experienced Specialist General Surgeon for a leading UAE healthcare facility. The role covers comprehensive surgical evaluation, treatment, and postoperative care. The ideal candidate has strong general and laparoscopic surgery skills and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities include performing elective and emergency surgeries, pre‑operative planning, and post‑operative monitoring, with collaboration across specialties. UAE licensing and team integration required.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/DNB/MRCS/FRCS/Arab Board or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 3 years post‑specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and license‑related records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.

• Manage GI tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, appendix, breast, and soft tissue conditions.
• Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures where trained.

• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and oncologists.
• Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, options, risks, and recovery.

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist General Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical evaluation, treatment, and post-operative care.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
• Manage conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, appendix, breast, and soft tissues .
• Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures where appropriately trained.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop appropriate surgical plans.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
• Manage surgical emergencies including acute abdomen, appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, perforation, and trauma.
• Review and interpret laboratory results, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

• Excellent clinical decision-making, surgical skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
