Job summary

NMC GROUP SERVICES. seeks an experienced endocrinologist to deliver specialised hormonal care in our Endocrinology Clinic, evaluating patients and guiding treatment plans from consultation to discharge.

The role requires 3–5 years post-qualification at specialist level, UAE-recognised fellowship or diploma, and active life-support certifications. You will engage in quality assurance and staff education to maintain clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience at Specialist level.
• Specialist degree with fellowship/diploma recognised by UAE health authorities.
• Certification and registration in a recognised specialty by UAE authorities.
• Active life-support certification (e.g., BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS/NRP).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with hormonal diseases in the Endocrinology Clinic.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage for endocrinology emergencies.
• Perform dynamic hormonal tests in appropriate patients.
• Offer consultation and referral services to inpatient services.
• Develop treatment plans from consultation to follow-up with patients.
• Supervise and educate staff, nurses, patients and technicians.
• Participate in quality assurance activities such as mortality and morbidity reviews and chart audits.

Job description

To perform the professional duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the CPC To perform his duties in the Endocrinology Clinic evaluating patients with hormonal diseases Provides after working hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology emergencies To perform endocrinal procedures dynamic hormonal test in appropriate patientTo provide consultation referral services to the in patient services in his area of expertise To work with the patients throughout the entire process starting from consultation to treatment plan Provides supervision and education to the staff nurses patients and technicians Participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service e g monthly mortality and morbidity conference peer review audit and chart review Performs additional duties as designated by the Head of the Department Provide a comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards Maintain accurate medical records Ensure excellence in medical practice is maintained by focusing on continuous professional development of self and others Maintain integrity in professional services by executing clinical services in an ethical and responsible manner
