Job summary

Premium UAE Medical Center in Dubai seeks an experienced Specialist / Consultant Endocrinologist to diagnose and manage hormonal, metabolic, and endocrine disorders. Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Endocrinology and postgraduate medical training.
• FRACP or equivalent acceptable by UAE licensing authority.
• Experience managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing and good standing certificate where applicable.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Provide comprehensive diabetes care including treatment optimization and complication prevention.
• Diagnose and manage thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases and osteoporosis.
• Order and interpret lab tests, hormone assessments, and imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor responses with guideline-based care.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle changes and adherence; coordinate with other specialists.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Education

Recognized specialist qualification in Endocrinology

FRACP in Endocrinology or equivalent

Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology

Post-specialization clinical experience in endocrine/metabolic conditions

Current professional registration / Good Standing

Eligibility for UAE licensing (DHA/DOH/MOHAP)

Strong diagnostic and patient-management skills

Ability to work in multidisciplinary team

Job description

A premium medical center in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Endocrinologist to diagnose and manage hormonal, metabolic, and endocrine disorders. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with diabetes, thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions, supporting effective long-term disease management and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including treatment optimization and complication prevention.
• Diagnose and manage thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, and other hormonal imbalances.
• Request and interpret relevant laboratory investigations, hormone assessments, and imaging studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and current medical guidelines.
• Monitor treatment response, adjust medications, and arrange follow-up assessments as required.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and long-term condition management.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, dietitians, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical protocols, patient-safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Recognized specialist qualification in Endocrinology.
• Australian Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Endocrinology, or an equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualification accepted by the relevant UAE licensing authority.
• Appropriate postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience in managing endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Current professional registration and a Certificate of Good Standing, where applicable.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensing through DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, subject to the relevant authority’s assessment.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
