REAPHR is recruiting a skilled South Indian cook for a luxury resort/hotel in Al Ain, UAE. The role requires strong practical knowledge of authentic South Indian cooking and the ability to work in a high-end kitchen.

The candidate should have experience with authentic dishes, maintain standards of taste, texture and presentation, and work under pressure in a luxury hospitality setting. Accommodation, visa, medical and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in South Indian cooking.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, spices, techniques and flavours.
• Ability to prepare multiple dishes consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes to recipes and quality standards.
• Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner items as assigned.
• Prepare batters, chutneys, gravies, curries, and rice dishes.
• Maintain taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
• Complete mise-en-place before service.
• Ensure ingredients are cleaned, prepared, stored and labelled.
• Monitor ingredient quality and minimise waste.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Follow food-safety procedures.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff.
• Follow Head Chef instructions.
• Maintain professional conduct in a luxury environment.
