Dorchester Collection is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team at a distinguished property in Dubai. You will lead kitchen activities, maintain top-quality food and mentor other cooks to achieve exceptional guest experiences.

You will learn through our award-winning learning academy and contribute to culinary innovation while upholding our We Care standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or fine dining environment.
• Collaborative approach to working alongside the Sous Chef in menu development and execution.
• Experience with Basque or Spanish cuisine preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to control costs and ensure quality.
• Clear communication is essential to keep departments running smoothly.
• Excellent customer service ethos and guest focus.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel; comfortable communication.
• Additional languages such as Spanish are an advantage.

• You will be responsible for maintaining food quality control appropriate and timely food rotation timely service and quality of food of the highest standard to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You ll also be responsible for the elimination of food spoilage contamination and waste.
• You will prepare cook and present food adhering to food safety standards learning new and exciting skills along the way.
• You ll be up to date with latest culinary trends be creative and skilled in the art of cookery.
