Job summary

Salt in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Solution & Technology Architecture Lead to define and drive the enterprise technology vision, ensuring scalable, cost-effective solutions aligned with long-term business goals.

You will lead a team of architects, govern architecture across programs, and champion cloud-native, microservices, and API-led approaches while collaborating with product, delivery and engineering to balance business needs with technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• TOGAF and SAFe certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of solution and technology architects, driving standards and governance across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and deliver the enterprise and solution architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and transformation roadmap.
• Lead a team of solution and technology architects, driving best practices, standards, and governance across all initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to enhance agility, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Collaborate closely with product, delivery, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between business needs and technical solutions.
• Champion agile and DevOps-aligned architecture practices such as microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across both agile and waterfall projects, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and reusable solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Architecture certifications (TOGAF, SAFe, etc.) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Proven success in large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture practices (microservices, API-led, cloud).
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience within the airline or travel industry is highly desirable.
