Job summary

Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, and integration groups to translate requirements into comprehensive architectural and implementation plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience.
• 3+ years in Solution/Technical Architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise apps, APIs, databases, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with HLDs, SDDs, architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solution architectures.
• Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), SDDs, integration designs, and technical specs.
• Design application, API, database, cloud, infrastructure, security, and integration architectures.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance, availability, and compliance.
• Define integration approaches using REST APIs, middleware, ESB, message queues, and API gateways.
• Support cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architecture implementations.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and infrastructure teams.
• Review existing systems and recommend modernization and optimization strategies.
• Evaluate technology platforms, vendors, tools, and architectural solutions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, UAE regulations, and security policies.
• Participate in architecture governance, technical reviews, and project planning.
• Maintain architecture documentation, risks, dependencies, and design decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, software design, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Experience in preparing HLDs, SDDs, architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, API management, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and system availability.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
