Job summary

NCO in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of a UAE government enterprise AI platform project. You will define the platform, microservices, model serving, integration and security design within a sovereign environment, and lead architecture reviews with client security boards.

Job Description

Own the end-to-end solution architecture of a 24-month UAE government enterprise agentic AI platform program in Abu Dhabi: platform, microservices, model serving, integration and security architecture in a government-approved UAE sovereign environment. The Architect produces and defends the technical architecture document, leads design reviews with the client's architecture and security boards, and is the senior technical authority for the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain the technical architecture document across logical, physical, integration, data, security, hosting and DR views.
• Define and defend the sovereign hosting and model-serving design; carry an approved alternative architecture option.
• Lead design and architecture review sessions with the client and internal teams; close review findings.
• Set engineering standards for the microservices, integration and CI/CD stack; review implementation against them.
• Support testing, security reviews, VAPT remediation and go-live gates as the design authority.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software or solution architecture, of which 3+ years on AI/ML or agentic AI platforms.
• Hands-on delivery of microservices, API-first and event-driven architectures into enterprise estates.
• Experience with sovereign, private-cloud or on-premises deployment models, including infrastructure sizing.
• Platform and integration architecture (API gateway, middleware, connectors, MCP or comparable tool protocols).
• AI application architecture: RAG, agent orchestration, model serving, guardrails and audit logging.
• High availability, backup/DR design to agreed RPO/RTO targets.
• Strong written English; professional Arabic is an advantage (deliverables are bilingual).
