The Solutions Architect (SA) position is a technical leadership role supporting the Sales region. Architects are typically assigned a technology area to focus on such as ADC, Infrastructure, Modern Apps, Security, Service Provider. This role is primarily focused on ADC infrastructure and modern apps (including AI architectures) and with a focus on automation. The ideal candidate has a solid ADC and modern apps background with an understanding on how application security solutions are integrated and automated into these traditional and modern architectures. The SA’s primary function is to work collaboratively with Sales teams identifying appropriate F5 solutions to address customers business needs. They provide technical expertise and business understanding across specific or multiple industries. They champion our customers requirements and ensure they are understood across other teams within F5 such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Product Development. The SA also shares knowledge and educates the solution engineering team internally and externally via whitepapers, trainings, demos, blogs, tech‑tips, presentations etc. To be effective an SA needs to blend strong business acumen with excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the ecosystem that we work needs to be an authority in his/her field of expertise and act as a trusted advisor towards our customers.
