Description:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician / Electrical Technician with experience by DEWA in solar PV systems and LV/MV electrical distribution to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of solar and electrical systems at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems, inverters, switchgear, and electrical panels (up to 11kV).Install solar panels, inverters, cabling, LV/MV switchgear, and control equipment as needed.

Monitor system performance using digital tools, and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation.Document all activities related to maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Ensure adherence to all electrical safety standards and site procedures.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient system functionality.Maintain clean work areas and perform solar module cleaning when required.Report daily activities and system performance to supervisors.

Assist with stock and supply management for electrical components.

Skills

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV systems and LV/MV electrical systems in UAE.
• DEWA certification and approval for Solar PV work.
• Proficient in using electrical testing tools (multimeter, insulation tester, earth resistance tester, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of PV inverters, electrical troubleshooting, and basic control systems.Ability to read electrical diagrams and follow safety regulations.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Valid driving license preferred.
