Job summary

Halian Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Software Engineer – .NET & Angular Full Stack to design, develop, and support modern enterprise applications using .NET and Angular, collaborating with product teams, architects, QA, and DevOps.

The role emphasises RESTful APIs, microservices, secure authentication, Azure cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability, requiring 7+ years of full-stack experience in enterprise environments. UAE market experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong full-stack engineering expertise.
• Hands-on with .NET 8 / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, and microservices.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
• Strong Angular (v15+), TypeScript, RxJS, Reactive Forms, Angular Material.
• API security including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, mTLS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Azure cloud technologies (AKS, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, App Insights, DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern Angular applications using TypeScript and RxJS.
• Design and build backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, .NET 8, and C#.
• Develop scalable microservices and integration solutions.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases with EF Core.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer – .NET & Angular Full Stack to join a leading enterprise technology team.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern full-stack applications using .NET and Angular technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions while working closely with product teams, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern Angular applications using TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, and reusable component frameworks.
• Design and build backend services and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core, .NET 8, and C#.
• Develop scalable microservices and enterprise integration solutions.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases using Entity Framework Core.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Integrate applications with external platforms including document management systems, identity providers, messaging services, and file transfer solutions.
• Develop and support background jobs, scheduled services, and asynchronous processing frameworks.
• Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout project delivery.
