Job summary

talabat is looking for a Software Engineer to join its team in Dubai. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers and product teams to develop software solutions that address customer needs, using technologies such as .NET, Golang, or C#. You will also help improve team practices while maintaining high quality through testing and best practices.

About the opportunity

Role summary

● Alongside other engineers and members of your team (product, data), participate in

continuous discovery of your customer/business needs/desires/problems to drive desired outcomes

● With guidance from other engineers, design, write and release software as a solution to an

end-to-end problem in your business domain and deliver value in small batches in accordance with our engineering standards

● Understand scalability & complexity of your services

● Participate in optimization of your team’s practices to develop it into a self-organized, continuously improving unit

● Seek mentorship to become a product engineer capable of solving a business problem, end-to-end

What you need to be successful

● Good knowledge of foundational software engineering with some software development

● Understands basics of relational and nonrelational databases as well as cloud platforms (e.g.AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

● Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field
