Job summary

Ghobash Group seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain banking software aligned with business needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and deliver scalable solutions, following coding, testing and deployment best practices.

You will contribute to unit and integration testing, code reviews and knowledge sharing, while ensuring security, performance and maintainability of systems across the bank's software stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Master's degree preferred in CS/IT.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• 5 years banking experience with full SDLC and DevOps exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications for the bank.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code; follow standards.
• Perform unit testing and participate in integration and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA engineers and developers to deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain existing apps and troubleshoot issues; ensure security and performance.
• Document designs, workflows and technical specs.
