Job summary

Qode in Dubai seeks a skilled Cloud Security & SIEM Engineer to join its Security Operations Centre. You will secure cloud environments, integrate telemetry with SIEM platforms, monitor activities, investigate events, and automate security operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role requires hands-on cloud security, IAM, network security, and security automation expertise, with 3–8 years of experience in SOC contexts. Immediate joining is preferred and work is onsite in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related discipline.
• 3–8 years in cybersecurity/cloud security/SOC environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement and monitor cloud security controls per provider models.
• Identify misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and exposed resources.
• Integrate cloud telemetry with SIEM platforms and maintain log ingestion.
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and investigations queries.
• Onboard and normalise cloud log sources for SIEM.
• Respond to cloud security incidents and support post‑incident reviews.
• Automate security processes using Python/PowerShell/Bash and IaC tools.
