Job summary

ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Cloud Security & SIEM Engineer to join our SOC. You will secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure and GCP, integrate telemetry with SIEM, and automate security operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud security, IAM controls, network security, and incident response. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of relevant experience, strong SIEM expertise with major platforms, and proficiency in scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of cybersecurity, cloud security, SIEM or SOC experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• IAM, RBAC, MFA, least privilege, and privileged-access monitoring.
• Experience with cloud network security, VPCs, firewalls, and segmentation.
• Experience integrating cloud logs into a SIEM via connectors/APIs/agents.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong analytical, documentation and incident-response skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workloads across AWS, Azure and GCP and enforce cloud security controls.
• Integrate cloud telemetry with SIEM platforms and maintain detection rules.
• Manage IAM, access policies, MFA and privileged account monitoring.
• Secure cloud networks, VPCs, subnets, security groups and firewalls.
• Onboard log sources, ensure data collection and normalisation.
• Develop runbooks, playbooks and incident response workflows.
• Support compliance through log retention and governance activities.
