Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a skilled carpenter in Abu Dhabi, UAE to construct, repair and install wood structures on diverse projects across buildings and interiors. You will read blueprints, measure precisely and work with hand tools and power equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
• Knowledge of wood properties and construction materials.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately.
• Physical dexterity to work with hand tools safely.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers and marking gauges.
• Select appropriate lumber or materials for each project.
• Cut or shape materials to measurements using hand tools or power saws.
• Assemble and fasten materials with nails, screws or adhesives.
• Install structures such as windows and floors.
• Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures.
• Follow blueprints or building plans to meet client specifications.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
