Job summary

JobCenter in Haur-Fakkan, UAE is seeking a motivated Carpenter to join our team. The role involves constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings, with responsibilities spanning measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, have at least two years of carpentry experience, and maintain a safe, clean worksite. Immigrant candidates meeting qualifications will be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of carpentry experience.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Construct frameworks and other structures using a variety of materials such as wood, metal, plastic etc.
• Install doors, windows, shelves, cabinets and other furniture according to specifications
• Repair furniture and other objects by replacing damaged parts or reinforcing joints
• Create custom pieces such as cabinets or tables by following client instructions
• Measuring materials accurately using measuring tools
• Maintaining tools in good condition
• Complying with safety regulations at all times
• Ensuring the worksite is clean at all times
